Scient Solutions is a software studio in Ontario, Canada. We design and build mobile apps, web platforms and the systems behind them, for the businesses we work with and for ourselves.

We build for ourselves, too.
Unframed, our shared photo album app, is live on the App Store and Google Play. Building and running a product of our own keeps us honest: we live with the same decisions about design, cost and scale that our clients make.

Ship the whole thing.
An app is more than its screens. For Unframed we built the iPhone, Android and web apps, the cloud backend, the store listings and the support pages, and shipped it in six languages.

Test what we promise.
Unframed’s backend runs more than 1,100 automated tests on every change, so the product that ships is the one we said we’d build.

Private by default.
We collect what a product needs and nothing more. In Unframed, face matching is opt-in and the selfie is deleted as soon as it’s processed.
